ABOUT ME

I’m Rayne (she/they), a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in helping young people have more joyful and fulfilling lives. I was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and have resided in Los Angeles for the last decade. After being a first generation college student, I got Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of La Verne.

My passion is analyzing, navigating, and dismantling oppressive sociopolitical systems with and for the people most harmed by them. Serving system-involved children, families, and young adults with complex trauma has been a major focus of my career. Being queer and polyamorous are important aspects of my identity, and thus I especially enjoy working with members of these communities. I try to incorporate critical liberation, de-colonization, anti-racism, and joy, art, nature, mindfulness, and community in all that I do.
