ABOUT ME

RAYNE PALOMBIT, PsyD - LICSENSE # PSY32502

I’m Rayne (they/she), a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in helping people have more joyful and fulfilling lives. I was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and have resided in Los Angeles for the last decade. After being a first generation college student, I earned Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of La Verne. I identify as queer so I am especially attuned to working with this community.

I have specialized training in child, sexual, and relational trauma, complex familial dynamics, and stressful events such as system-involvement (e.g., foster care, legal), child/teen behavior and school concerns, anxiety, anger, and major life or identity transitions. I am particularly passionate about working with queer, trans, non-monogamous, sex positive, and neurodivergent folks. I am especially attuned to young adults, teenagers, and parents, including those hesitant about or new to therapy. My client-centered approach honors you as the expert of your experience; we will collaboratively set intentions, explore root causes, and engage in healing practices.

I've worked in community mental health, hospitals, schools, and group homes, focusing on marginalized and system-impacted individuals. These experiences deepened my passion for navigating and dismantling oppressive systems and helping people heal from the harm they cause. My work centers racial, sexual, and disability justice, decolonization, anti-capitalism, liberation, harm-reduction, and community.
